- Endobronchial spread of various infections (bacterial, fungal, viral, or parasitic),
- Allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis,
- Congenital airway disorders like ciliary dyskinesia or cystic fibrosis,
- Idiopathic disorders (obliterative bronchiolitis, panbronchiolitis),
- Aspiration or inhalation of foreign substances,
- Immunologic disorders,
- Connective tissue disorders
- Peripheral pulmonary vascular diseases such as pulmonary tumor emboli.
