Flank pain with radiation towards the groin – 6 months which is progressively increasing in nature.
Episodes are Associated with Nausea and vomitting
Diabetes and Hypertension.
On Examination there is – Costovertebral angle tenderness

What is the color of uric acid stones ?
Uric acid crystals are colorless.
Uric acid kidney stones are often red–orange–brown in color.
The stone color originates from a variety of components in the matrix, some of which are a broad range of urinary pigments or urochrome.
What is the color of uric acid stones
Uric acid stones – Light microscopy of urine- urinary crystallizations with characteristic rectangular or rhomboid-shaped uric acid crystals.
Finding such crystals, along with an acidic urinary pH of 5.5 or less, is suggestive but not diagnostic of uric acid urolithiasis.
