  4. Tip of the thumb is visible medial to the little finger when it is clasped in the clenched hand.

Steinberg sign is positive when the entire distal phalanx of the thumb extends beyond the ulnar border of the clenched fist.


Walker-Murdoch sign


Walker-Murdoch sign is considered positive if the thumb can cover the entire nail of the small finger when wrapped around the contralateral wrist.
